Welcome to the sixth Audio Issue of the SHAPE Journal, continuing a new series of special editions published to mark the centenary of Lenin's death.
The final part of SHAPE's audio series on V.I. Lenin looks to the future, and at the potential future for Lenin's forgotten theoretical work. What does a future of Marxist Leninism look like, over 30 years after the fall of the Soviet Union, and a century since the man himself died? Are we really living at the "end of history"? Why can't we seem to imagine a progressive future any more? Is it just "left doomerism" or is it perhaps something to do with the unpredictable nature of revolution and emergent change?
What would Lenin think about the future if he was alive today?
